Our mission is to be the premier nutritional company offering the highest quality programs and supplements to enable a healthier lifestyle. Incorporated in our company name is the Egyptian symbol Ka which means “Life Force”. We believe as the ancient Egyptians did that one’s “Life Force” is sustained through food and drink. Our programs and supplements enable our clients to improve their health, kick start a healthier lifestyle and maintain their “Life Force”.
Our products are of the highest quality and are manufactured with the highest FDA audit compliant standards in a cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) certified state of art facility. Our consultants are PhD’s, MD’s, nutritionists, and we hire only experts in their fields to help develop our business, new products and offer client support.

Philip Erdoes
Partner, Bear Ventures
Philip is the founder and CEO of Bear Ventures, a New York based venture capital firm. He’s a serial entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience creating new enterprises. He’s also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and participates in a number of charitable activities. Before all of this, Philip practiced law at a Texas-based national law firm, Andrews and Kurth, where he specialized in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a B.S. in Biology and Biomedicine from Oklahoma State University, a J.D. with Honors from the University of Oklahoma, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
Simon Essl
Partner, Active Equity Partners
Simon is a brand development professional and brings to Ka Formulas 15+ years of experience in the active lifestyle space. Along with being a founder of Carmaichael Training Systems, he has developed and executed strategy for groups such as The North Face, Anheuser Busch and Susan G. Komen For The Cure. To maintain a relevant perspective of the active lifestyle he is a member of the Texas based Elbowz Racing Elite Cycling Team. His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from the University California, Berkeley and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Andrew J. Gellman

Ingenus Pharmaceuticals is a privately held generic pharmaceutical company focused on developing and marketing the highest quality specialty generic products in the United States. Prior to creating Ingenus, Andrew was the chief operating officer for ICORE Healthcare, a specialty drug management company focused on managing specialty drug spend for Insurance Companies. Previously, Andrew served as a senior executive in the creation of one of the largest specialty pharmaceutical services companies, AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group (ABSG). Andrew helped to shape what is today a $15+ billion diversified specialty pharmaceutical company. In his last position at ABSG, Andrew served as the President of Integrated Commercialization Solutions (ICS), ABSG’s pharmaceutical third-party logistics division. With over 18 years of operational experience in a Fortune 500 company, and building start-up companies, he brings to Ka Formulas extensive operational expertise. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining Bear Ventures, Rebby practiced law at King & Spalding and Andrews & Kurth, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate matters. He holds a B.A. with honors from Princeton University and a J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.
